IMO for the collector the Russian Tula's are the most sought after SKS's with next being the factory 26's, but the rarest SKS rifles are the North Koreans and the Vietnamese ones.This is a new shipment received on 5-10-2021 and is one of the best quality batches we have ever received! These are authentic Vietnam Era Military Surplus Chinese Type 56 SKS rifles, manufactured at the #26 Jianshe Arsenal factory. Chinese SKS is as durable as any other variant, with a minor exception that the Chu wood is a bit more prone to dents and wear. Still perfectly fine though. You MUST clean the bolt fully, including the removal of the firing pin and cleaning the channel well.Absolutely. Early game staple. Definitely. Any time I want to do a no-risk run for a task, I go in with nothing but an SKS, headset and backpack. Easy to taps scavs from a distance, and 7.62 BP and even PS slaps PMCs, even geared ones. It just makes me wonder because, as a sort of thought experiment, I want to try to configure an SKS to accept 10rnd detachable box magazines made for this one “pistol” chambered in 7.62x39 (I can’t remember the name). It takes STANAGs though, so there are legal 10rnd 7.62x39 magazines out there.The SKS rifle has better accuracy as compared to the AK 47as. SKS has a longer sight radius, and it is easy to target. This is so because SKS has a 20 inches long barrel whereas AK 47 has a 16 inches long barrel.
